About Atradius India

Working closely with our local partners in India, we deliver unrivalled credit management expertise and market intelligence, enabling businesses to minimise risk and promote domestic and export trade.

The Atradius India team combines local expertise and international experience to help businesses reduce the impact of customer payment defaults caused by commercial and political risks.

From our main office in Mumbai, we support our local insurance partners who, in line with local regulatory guidelines, service local and international clients in all aspects of credit risk mitigation. Our partners, the New India Assurance Company (NIA) and HDFC ERGO, leverage our credit risk management expertise, including credit ratings and local market knowledge.

We opened our first office in India in 2004. Since then our India operation has grown rapidly across sectors and business sizes. Today, we provide credit management support for a wide range of businesses, from multinationals to smaller organisations, across the subcontinent.
